Post-Submission Amendment — Modification Request

Modify Existing Declaration

Amendments to biographical, travel documentation, or ancillary data fields may be requested provided the declaration has not yet entered the final adjudication phase. All modification requests are subject to administrative review and the applicable amendment levy.

▸ Modification Advisory

Modification requests are subject to an administrative levy. Amendments cannot be processed once the declaration has entered the final adjudication phase. The Applicant will be notified if the modification request cannot be fulfilled.

Modification Eligibility Criteria

A modification request shall be considered eligible for processing only where the following conditions are satisfied:

  • § 1.1The declaration must hold a current status of "SUBMITTED" or "UNDER REVIEW." Declarations that have progressed to "APPROVED," "REJECTED," or "CANCELLED" status are ineligible for modification.
  • § 1.2The modification request must be submitted by the same individual who initiated the original declaration, as verified by the registered correspondence address and Application Reference Number.
  • § 1.3The requested amendment must pertain to data fields that are designated as modifiable under the prevailing administrative framework.

Modifiable Data Fields

The following categories of data may be subject to post-submission amendment:

Biographical Data

  • § Given name(s) and surname corrections
  • § Date of birth rectification
  • § Nationality or citizenship amendments
  • § Gender designation correction

Travel Documentation Data

  • § Passport or travel document number
  • § Document expiry date
  • § Issuing authority or jurisdiction
  • § Intended travel date adjustments

Modification Procedure

To initiate a modification request, The Applicant shall adhere to the following procedure:

  • § 3.1Submit an administrative enquiry via the Contact section of this portal, clearly identifying the Application Reference Number and the specific data field(s) requiring amendment.
  • § 3.2Provide the corrected data in the format prescribed for the applicable field(s). Names must correspond exactly to the travel document; dates must adhere to the DD/MM/YYYY format.
  • § 3.3Where applicable, attach supporting documentation (e.g., scanned copy of updated travel document) to substantiate the requested amendment.
  • § 3.4Upon receipt, the modification request shall be reviewed and processed within the standard administrative timeline. The Applicant will receive confirmation via the registered correspondence address.

Administrative Levy for Modifications

Modification requests are subject to an administrative amendment levy. The applicable fee shall be communicated to The Applicant upon receipt of the modification request and must be remitted prior to the processing of the amendment. The amendment levy is non-refundable irrespective of the outcome of the modification request.

Notice of Limitation

This portal reserves the right to decline modification requests that are determined to constitute a material change to the identity or purpose of the original declaration. In such cases, The Applicant shall be required to submit an entirely new declaration with the correct information.
